Title: Social Media and e-Commerce Specialist

Reports to: Director, Marketing & Communications

Classification: Part-time

Compensation: $14.50 per hour

Purpose:

Manage ReStore social media and e-commerce operations and maintain established procedures. Explore opportunities and make recommendations to further refine procedures to maximize ROI.

Responsibilities:

Social Media:

  • Plan and execute daily social media communications
  • Respond to comments and questions from followers
  • Review monthly social media dashboard reports and propose improvements based on findings
  • Document best practices for social content with the goal of increasing engagement, followers, and revenue

e-Commerce:

  • Publish product listings on various e-commerce platforms
  • Manage customer service and inquiries from potential customers
  • Create documentation for best practices on all facets of e-commerce management
  • Support integration between point of sale operations and e-commerce functions

Required skills and experience:

  • Advanced proficiency with social media platforms and Microsoft Office programs
  • Natural ability to develop and document processes to gain efficiencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior time management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team, as well as an ability to carry out tasks independently
  • Ability to identify and establish priorities, work independently, and exercise sound judgment related to providing support and assistance
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills which must be effective and courteous, requiring high integrity when dealing with a broad array of backgrounds
