Members of the Golden Hammer Society are legacy donors who have chosen to include Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity in their will or estate plans. They believe in family, community, and doing their part to help create a world where everyone has a decent place to live. As valued investors, society members are offered unique and fun opportunities to meet our families and engage in our mission. To help you get started on your plans and legacy, you can use FreeWill, an online tool that guides you through the process of creating your will or trust. It’s free, easy to use, accessible online and can be completed in 20 minutes. You can use this resource on its own, or use it to document your wishes before finalizing your plans with an attorney.

Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? If so, these are called non-probate assets and you must plan your beneficiaries for them separately. Use this online tool to make your plans and designate us as a beneficiary of one or more of these assets. .

If you have already made a legacy gift to Fox Cities Habitat but haven’t notified us, please take a moment to fill out the form on the FreeWill site. Legacy donors who have remembered Habitat for Humanity with a life income gift or have named us as a beneficiary of a will, trust, retirement plan, or life insurance policy are recognized members of the Golden Hammer Society.
