I lived in Oshkosh until I got married to my wife Kathy. We have lived in Appleton for 43 years. We have two children, our son lives in Appleton and works as a welder, our daughter lives in southern California where she teaches high school Spanish and French. I worked 40 years at Neenah Foundry where I repaired forklifts, skid steers and electric vehicles.

After retirement I decided to volunteer for Habitat to give back for all the blessings I have received.
When not volunteering I have some land at Wild Rose that I use for deer hunting, getting firewood and getting away to enjoy nature. My wife and I do some traveling. This last May we went to the Tulip Festival in Holland Michigan. This fall we are taking a boat ride on the Mississippi river to see the fall colors.
Presently I do logistics and help with building for Habitat. Later, when the building season is over, I will start a new job helping repair the tools and Paslode nailers. The people and the different learning experiences keep me coming back.
I also have two old Dodge trucks that I take to car shows, and am helping my son build a hot rod.
