Mark Ellis | Gifts-in-Kind Manager

Mark Ellis joins the Habitat for Humanity team as Gifts-In-Kind Program Manager for the organization. Gifts-In-Kind are donations in the form of goods and services and are critical to Habitat’s mission of providing safe, decent and affordable housing. Mark will work to strengthen this program for both the Habitat ReStore and construction operations.

Mark is no stranger to the Fox Cities. His work in marketing, branding and public relations with Alta Resources, CRL Senior Living Communities and the former FH&K companies is supported with a long history of community involvement. Mark is an active volunteer in the community including almost 30 years with Youth Go and Future Neenah, Inc.  Mark also spent 18 years serving as alderman for the City of Neenah.

Ryan Roth | Community Development Manager

Ryan Roth serves as Habitat’s Community Development Manager. In this role, Ryan work with residents, community stakeholders and civic leaders to develop our Neighborhood Revitalization program.  Neighborhood Revitalization selects a target neighborhood and brings together residents, municipalities, local business, schools, churches and other non-profits to improve and beautify that neighborhood. This is done through ongoing community projects and events like Rock the Block.

Ryan has a blend of skills and experiences in public affairs, community organizing and construction that uniquely qualify him for this position.  He’s co-owner of Roth & Sons Construction, and recently completed a 6-year enlistment with the Wisconsin Air National Guard managing their Public Affairs department.  Ryan is an active volunteer with his church, as a basketball coach, and other local organizations.

Mica Kohanski | Construction Supervisor

Mica comes to the Habitat staff as a Construction Supervisor/Project Coordinator.  Mica’s main emphasis will be on supervision of full house rehab projects, but he’ll also supervise home repair, new construction and Rock the Block projects as needed.  He’ll also play a key role in growing the rehab program by developing our volunteer base, training programs and construction systems.  Project coordination responsibilities include helping with bidding, scheduling and sub-contractor coordination.

Mica brings over 15 years of construction and maintenance experience, most recently with Fox Cities Performing Arts Center and his own business.  He also brings extensive volunteer leadership experience through his church and other organizations.
