Greater Green Bay and Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity affiliates are proud to announce Jordy Nelson as keynote speaker at the 2015 Hard Hats & Heels annual event. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 24 in the Lambeau Field Atrium. The fun-filled evening will include dinner, silent and live auctions and will feature Nelson taking the stage to deliver his message on the importance of family life and having a place to call home.
Jordy Nelson is a Super Bowl Champion, Pro Bowler and Green Bay’s leading wide receiver. In 2014, Nelson was ranked near the top of every major receiving category recording career highs in receptions (98) and yards (1,519) while finding the end zone 13 times. Nelson’s 1,519 receiving yards in 2014 earned him a spot in Green Bay’s record books, breaking Robert Brooks’ single season receiving yards mark.
Nelson grew up in the small town of Leonardville, Kansas near Kansas State’s campus in Manhattan. Jordy and his wife Emily are actively involved with charities in both Wisconsin and Kansas and look forward to the opportunity to support Habitat for Humanity.
Individual tickets will go on sale in August. Corporate tables and sponsorships for the event are available now.
